This leading organic and biodynamic crop breeding initiative from Bad Vilbel near Frankfurt a. M. is engaged in the development of new cultivars for wheat, barley, maize, oats, pea, rye and some vegetable species. Breeding research activities mainly focus on plant health and heterogeneous populations. Examples of released cultivars include Grannosos and Thomaro in winter wheat, Esperanza in spring wheat, Almito in maize, Kaspero in oats and Liocharls as organic heterogeneous winter wheat material.
